LinkedIn Expands to Follow Specific Brands and Products

LinkedIn recently launched Showcase Pages in an effort to consolidate brand presence. Showcase Pages are made to complement Company Pages, with the focus on following specified brands as opposed to the company.
This will enhance LinkedIn, giving users the ability to expand their brand relationships and understand the demographics of each brand follower by specific interest within an organization. Additionally, Showcase Pages come with LinkedIn analytics.
This new feature is valuable to users as it offers an avenue to interact with followers of your brand, connect with potential business partners, and future hires. Additionally, this will allow brand users to know exactly what their followers are interested in within the brand, and will be able to provide ads that are tailored to specific interests that may be linked to their brand. LinkedIn continues to make a mark for business social marketing, creating a one-stop site for brands, followers, and professional networking.
