BP Didn't Have a Spill Plan, Do You?
In our January newsletter we wrote about the Spill Control and Countermeasures Plan (SPCC) rule and its new effective dates. Make sure you check if you have to comply. If your facility has an aggregate storage capacity of over 1,320 gallons (including 55 gallon drums) of petroleum products, these amendments will certainly affect your facility.
If you do have to comply, KPA can help you with a plan at a price of typically $2,500 per dealer facility. For the record: we might have charged BP somewhat more. KPA has provided customized SPCC Plans to more than 1,100 clients since 1986. Our SPCC service begins with an onsite SPCC evaluation. We will design, deliver and certify a plan tailored to your specific requirements that meets all regulatory requirements. Because of our two decades of experience with oil usage and disposal, KPA can suggest the most cost-effective and efficient means to comply with the EPA guidelines.
