Program Development
EPA and other agencies develop local, regional, and national priorities that focus on significant environmental risks and noncompliance patterns. KPA can review and revise your existing programs or write new custom programs to ensure compliance with:
- Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasures (SPCC): Our Professional Engineer stamped and certified plans ensure your facility meets or exceeds best industry practices and continued regulatory compliance is achieved.
- Storm Water Pollution Prevention: Storm water discharges are generated by runoff from land and impervious areas such as paved streets, parking lots and building rooftops during rainfall and snow events that often contain pollutants in quantities that could adversely affect water quality. Most storm water discharges are considered point sources and require coverage by a National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit. Our plans are written to ensure that facility runoff is properly captured and if necessary treated to achieve continued compliance as specified by EPA’s Storm Water Pollution Prevention.
- State, County or City specific plans are written by local KPA experts who have relationships with your local regulatory agencies.
KPA understands that a written plan is only half of the equation – our plans are written to easily integrate into management practices and to ensure a continued high productivity environment.
