Brandi's Philosophy

At the core of my philosophy is a true understanding of how IT and technology are the lifeblood of an organization. I focus on understanding aspects of the entire organization and then collaborating with each team and functional department to determine how IT can be a catalyst for efficiency and growth. For my IT teammates, my philosophy is that we are “One Team,” from top to bottom. I continuously operate on empowerment and accountability.

If I’m not running events or volunteering to save the world, I’m spending time hanging out outside, waterskiing, snowboarding, running around the soccer field, or generally enjoying the day. I love spending time with my family which includes both a toddler and a teenager.

I first pursued corporate law at the University of Denver and obtained a bachelor’s degree in political science. During that journey I realized that I was much better at building than debating and found a strong and fervent passion for computer science. I went on to get a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from Colorado State University at Fort Collins.

In my role as Vice President of Technology at KPA my primary goal is to improve the client experience by delivering enterprise-scale systems designed to improve both internal / external client experiences while continually driving growth and reducing operational costs. Prior to joining KPA, I worked at Level 3 Communications for 10 years as the Director of Information Technology. Additionally, I worked as the Director of Technology at Location 3 Media, where I was nominated by the Denver Business Journal for CIO of the year in the Small Business category.
