My philosophy at KPA is to treat our employees right and that will inspire them to treat our clients right. I’ve been with KPA for over nine years and I’ve seen that philosophy positively impact both the immediate KPA family and our extended family of clients. For me, honesty, respect, transparency, and fun are all critical aspects needed to effectively engage with the team and empower them to treat others in the same way.

I have three passions, my family, the outdoors, and music. I love to spend time with my kids playing music, especially blue grass. I play the banjo and the guitar and sometimes on a Friday afternoon, my co-workers will hear me rolling on my banjo. I also enjoy skiing and biking in the Colorado mountains. There is always a new run or a new bike path to try. I also like to spend time fixing cars.

I have both a Bachelor’s Degree and a Master’s Degree in Accounting from the University of Florida. Additionally, I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science, also from the University of Florida.

I joined KPA in 2007. I have over 20 years of experience in financial leadership roles in the software, technology, manufacturing, and agri-business industries. I have worked for and audited both private and public companies. I have nine years public accounting experience, including Senior Manager of Audit at KPMG and prior work with Price Waterhouse. Additionally I have held the role of controller, most recently at Intrado (NASDAQ: TRDO, acquired by West) where I was responsible for SEC reporting and providing all support for pricing and negotiations.
