LAFAYETTE, Colo. – February 21, 2019 – KPA Services, LLC, a leader in compliance, safety and risk management solutions, announced today that it will be an active participant in the upcoming 2019 Ohio Safety Congress & Expo (OSC19), the largest and longest-running regional occupational safety, health and workers’ compensation conference in the U.S. In addition to the company exhibiting in Booth 313 during the conference, two KPA consultants will be providing workshops.

KPA District Manager Nick Hardesty will discuss the meaning behind the term “safety culture” and its many implications, as well as identify seven steps for implementing an effective workplace safety program. In addition, participants will learn how workers’ compensation premiums are calculated and how a positive safety culture impacts that cost. Since 2002, Hardesty has been assisting KPA clients with developing safety programs, improving their regulatory compliance and controlling risk.

KPA Mid Atlantic Team Lead Zach Pucillo will review environmental health and safety (EHS)-related training programs. By the end of his workshop, participants will know which employees should complete what safety courses, relevant topics, and how often these courses should be refreshed. Pucillo, a Certified Safety Professional, Certified Hazardous Materials Manager and an authorized OSHA Outreach Trainer, has been providing KPA clients with expert EHS advice since 2006.

“If safety is your responsibility, I encourage you to attend both workshops. And don’t forget to stop by our booth. Among the solutions we’ll be showcasing is our new mobile app, which enables clients to manage their safety and compliance programs in real time from any location,” said Hardesty.

The 2019 Ohio Safety Congress & Expo (OSC19) will take place from Tuesday, March 5th through Friday, March 8th and will be held at the Greater Columbus Convention Center, Columbus, Ohio. To register or for more information, visit
